Washington D.C., Bilen Broadcasting and consulting services launches it's website on Wed. Feburary 18th, 2008 unofficially. What does "Bilen" stand for? Bilen can be defined in two terms. The first definition is a pupil of an eye. The pupil is the sphere that is located in the center of the iris of the eye and that controls the amount of light that enters the eye. It is with the spirit of attention to detail that the name was chosen to light up and reflect the se rvices that BBMC is offering to the public. Bilen is also the name ofone of the nine ethnic groups of Eritrea, mostly found in and around the city of Keren, and south toward Asmara, the nation's capital. Eritrea is located in the horn of Africa.

Bilen Broadcasting Consults World Bank and Baney media,

Washington D.C., Bilen Broadcasting and consulting services has been engaged in helping with the making and promotion of the award winning documentary "One Childhood". Collaborating with the World bank's human development department and award winning production company Baney media, Bilen has been able to guide in the making of the film,distribution and screening of the 30 minute documentary which has gotten an amazing 15,000 hits on youtube within a period of a week and half. The documentary has been translated into four languages and was shot completely on HD(High Definition) camera. Bilen Broadcast and Media Consulting would like to congratulate all who were involved in the making of this great story of the "can do" people of Eritrea.
